# Reinstalling Server Files

Reinstalling your server will reset your server files back to the default state of the selected Minecraft type. \
**This process permanently deletes all existing files**, so we strongly recommend backing up your server before proceeding.

### **Important: Back Up Your Server First**

Before reinstalling, create a backup using the panel:

1. Go to your server in the game panel.
2. Click **Backups** in the left menu.
3. Create a new backup and wait for the process to finish.
4. (Optional but recommended) Download the backup to your computer.

Once your backup is secure, you can safely reinstall.

### **Reinstalling Your Server: Step-by-Step**

#### **1. Log in to the Game Panel**

Sign in with your account credentials.

#### **2. Navigate to Your Server Settings**

From the left-hand sidebar, click **Settings**.

#### **3. Start the Reinstall**

Inside the **Settings** page, click **Reinstall Server**.\
A confirmation window will appear — review the warning and confirm if you're ready to proceed.

#### **4. Monitor the Reinstallation**

Navigate to the **Terminal** tab.\
You will see real-time progress as the server is wiped and the fresh installation begins.

Once complete, the server will start normally with default files for your selected Minecraft type.
